Injectables
Neuromodulators/Neurotoxin:
Botox®, Restylane®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau® are all similar products that eliminate expressive wrinkles and lines in your face. These products are particularly effective for scowl lines between your brows (the “11s”), horizontal forehead lines and creases, crow’s feet, and the fine lines around the mouth (“smoker’s lines”). Neuromodulators can also be effective in improving any downturn of the corners of your mouth, alleviating a “gummy smile” and smoothing the crinkling appearance of your chin.
Dermal Fillers:
Restylane®, Juvederm®, Volluma®, Belotero®, Versa™, and more! There are various brands of dermal fillers created from hyaluronic acid, which is a compound found naturally in cartilage. Depending on the processing method, each product has different properties that make them effective for different needs. Some are thick and fluffy for improving volume and are great for cheek, chin, and jaw augmentation. Some are smoother and stretchier for use in areas that get a lot of movement. These are great for lip enhancement, perioral lines (“smokers’ lines”), and finer cheek smile lines to give a very natural look.
Collagen Stimulators
(Sculptra®, Radiesse®):
Certain injectables stimulate your own body’s collagen production to give long lasting and incredibly natural volumization, skin smoothing and overall tightness and glow. These can be used on face, neck, and any area of your body that needs a youthful rejuvenation. They are also great products to use if you are younger for prevention of volume loss and appearance of aging. Several treatments may be necessary since it works gradually over time, but once the desired appearance is reached it can last a lot longer than other types of fillers. Sometimes patience is key!
Sculptra® for face:
A favorite for overall facial re-volumization and/or prevention of volume loss for a major anti-aging boost. Also helps with fine lines and surface texture.
Sculptra® for body:
If you are wondering how to get rid of crepiness of your chest, knees, arms, or belly, Sculptra Body is a great option. Helps with stretch marks, cellulite, and loose skin after weight loss.
Hyperdilute Radiesse®:
Radiesse™ not only gives an immediate smoothing of skin but also continues to work over time to stimulate collagen. Great for face and body!
PRP/PRF:
PRP (platelet rich plasma) and PRF (platelet rich fibrin) are both products extracted from your own blood which are then purified and re-injected into areas in need of collagen stimulation for smoother/plumper skin. These products can also be used topically or in conjunction with microneedling or laser for hair restoration, stretch marks, or general skin resurfacing for even better results.
Microfat/nanofat:
Your own fat can be removed from one area and transferred to other areas that need more volume. This can be a great alternative to dermal fillers for face, hands, or other areas.
Nanofat:
Similar to fat transfer in that fat is harvested from a donor site and processed, but then can be used very superficially in skin or even topically to stimulate collagen and give a smoother, more toned appearance.
Sclerotherapy (injections for spider veins):
Sclerotherapy is the gold standard for treatment of red or purple spider veins on legs. Tiny injections are made into problem areas for permanent reduction in unsightly veins. Feel better and more confident in your skin, especially in the summer when bare legs are in full view with swimsuits and short skirts! Be sure to schedule your treatments earlier in the year as it does take several weeks and sometimes multiple treatments for optimal results.
